Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Hope you're all off to a great weekend. At last, the 5th volume of WATCHER FEATURES is here! I'm really sorry it took so long; too many "bugs" to deal with

Anyhu, here they are finally;

PS: OMG!! Have you guys watched Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows 7B??? It was so NOT what I expected! Snape, as always, blew me away (talk about PERFECT CASTING!!!

I cried at his big moment!!) Other that that, the movie was so messed up. Too many important scenes were left out

I mean, come on? Fred's death was left out completely! and where the heck was Percy?!?! And where was Harry's big scene when explaining everything to Tom Riddle (aka Lord Voldemort)? That was one of the most important scenes ever! And Hagrid was barely there throughout the whole movie...Rather disappointed, but all in all, the movie wasn't that bad :/ Loved the 3D-ness, and the dragon was just WOW

(The bank scenes were messed up too)

Anyways, here's a warm loving hug for everyone; I love you all
